The Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship offers a Certificate of Ministry. Each candidate must complete a minimum of 68 credits with a passing grade (C- or above). This includes 56 credits of required core classes and 12 emphasis credits. If no emphasis is selected or available, a Certificate of Ministry will be conferred. All financial obligations must be completed at the beginning of each semester including the graduation fee that is due at the end of the program.
It is the student’s responsibility to track their graduation progress and enroll in classes needed for their degree. If you have any questions regarding your graduation status check with the CCSC School Of Discipleship Office.

Core Requirements:
A minimum of 56 credits must be completed by the following required courses:
Old Testament and New Testament Survey Courses:
A minimum 12 credits must be completed with the Old Testament and New Testament Survey courses. Each Survey Course is a 3 credit class and consists of a self paced verse-by-verse study through the entire Bible taught by Pastor Chuck Smith. Students must complete both the Old and New Testament Survey Courses to qualify for graduation.
Practical Christian Ministry:
A minimum of 4 credits must be completed. Students are required to serve at their local fellowship for a minimum number of 4 hours each week. Students must enroll for 4 semesters to qualify for graduation.
Church Attendance:
A minimum of 4 credits must be completed. Students are required to attend their local fellowship for a minimum 1 service per week. Students must enroll for 4 semesters to qualify for graduation.
Ministry Training Courses:
A minimum of 12 credits must be completed with a required Ministry course. This includes Inductive Bible Study (3 credits), Self-Confrontation (6 credits), and The Holy Spirit (3 credits).
Required Bible Courses:
A minimum of 18 credits must be completed with required Bible classes. These include Genesis (3 credits), John (3 credits), Acts (3 credits), Romans (3 credits), Hebrews (3 credits) and Revelation (3 credits).
Theology Courses:
A minimum of 6 credits must be completed with required Theology classes. These include Bibliology (3 credits) and Calvary Distinctives (3 credits).
