Graduation Certificate

Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship (CCSoD) offers several paths of study to help all types of students.  All students completing the 68 credit course will earn a Graduation Certificate. However, students have the option to follow an emphasis of study within our program. CCSoD offers 3 emphases to help students learn in areas that would be more directly applicable to their lives and future ministries.  Our emphases currently are: Worship, Biblical Studies, and Christian Leadership & Administration. By completing 15 credits (5 classes) a student can complete any one of the 3 areas of emphasis. If a student chooses to not participate in any one emphasis, they can choose to take classes from any of the emphases and still earn their Graduation Certificate by finishing the required 68 credits for the school.

Audit Classes

What is the difference between a credit course and an audit course?
Auditing a class means that a student can take a class but cannot be receive credit toward a Graduation Certificate.

Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship allows students to Audit classes for non-credit. This is available for students who do not want to earn a Graduation Certificate, but just want to attend classes for ministry development, knowledge of the Word, and to deepen their relationship with God.  Please be aware that audit courses are not eligible for college credit. Any audit course may not be changed to a credit course at any point in time. There are no degrees or certificates awarded for audit courses. Only classes taken for credit will apply toward a degree.

Transferable Credits

For students that would like to further pursue their education, or desire to earn a 4-year degree from an accredited university after they complete our course, CCSoD has made articulation agreements with different universities that would allow students who earned their Graduation Certificate to transfer their class credits and apply them toward a 4-year degree. We will also continue to make new agreements with more universities around the country to give our students the greatest variety of options for their education.  Currently CCSoD has articulation agreements with Horizon University and Calvary Chapel University.
