Audit Classes
What is the difference between a credit course and an audit course?
Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship allows students to Audit classes for non-credit. This is available for students who do not want to earn a Ministry Certificate, but just want to attend classes for ministry development, knowledge of the Word, and to deepen their relationship with God. Please be aware that audit courses are not eligible for college credit. Audited classes will receive a complete or incomplete grade depending on whether or not all class assignments were completed. Only classes taken for credit will apply toward a degree. A credited course must be cleared in advance with the instructor and all class work must be completed. Upon completion of the class, a letter grade will be awarded.
Transferable Credits
For students that would like to further pursue their education, or desire to earn a 4-year degree from an accredited university after they complete our course, CCSoD has made articulation agreements with different universities that would allow students who earned their Ministry Certificate to transfer their class credits and apply them toward a 4-year degree. Only credited classes qualify. Currently CCSoD has articulation agreements with Horizon University, Calvary Chapel Golden Springs Bible College, Calvary Chapel Chino Valley School Of Discipleship, and Calvary Chapel University. For specific information regarding transferring classes for credit towards a 4-year degree you will need to contact the school you are wishing to attend directly.
